Is it a violation of forum rules to discuss the possibility of partnering up with like-minded property owners to form a privately owned property management company?

Property management is generally a loss leader in the real estate industry. Unless you plan to pair it with a construction division or can build out a brokerage and the property management is utilized to bring in and/or retain business, it's not a great business to be in if you plan to manage 3rd party assets. If the intent is to self manage and believe partnering where resources can be shared, that's a different story and have seen it done in ways that added efficiencies that wouldn't exist without pooling portfolios.
