Hi Everyone,

I own 8 units in Cleveland and recently my property management company has been choosing vendors that charge extremely high prices for any fix.  Any good recommendations for cheap handyman/GC?

Thanks so much!

@Jack Kehoe Maintenance: Never fast enough for tenants or cheap enough for owners!

PMCs are a big target for lawsuits, even from their owner clients!

What would YOU do if your PMC used an unlicensed and/or uninsured vendor and they caused a personal injury situation with a tenant that led a tenant to sue you?

You'd probably sue your PMC for not properly protecting your interests!

So, go ahead and find a cheaper vendor - guarantee you can find one.

But, most won't be licensed and insured to protect you from lawsuits.

Oh, and what do you think your chances are of getting a cheap vendor to come back and fix something under warranty?
