Tenant wants to swap fridge from other unit

Albert Johnson
Posted

I have a tenant that is moving out. My other tenant plans to move into their place. This tenant wants to take the fridge from their current place and into the other unit.

The current place the tenant is in has a stainless steel fridge. The place they are planning to move into has a white fridge.

The white fridge is older. The stainless steel is new.

I am stuck on what to do. How would you go about this?

Tell them no. What if the fridges get moved and they are damaged or something gets damaged when they are moved.
