Advice to manage room by room rental property/info about property management company

Posted

Hello,

I am new to this forum and the rental property world. My husband and I have several SFHs in the Bay Area and we do a long term (a min of 6 months) room by room rental. So far, we manage them ourselves (listing the room, do the viewing, manage any issues that might arise like house cleaning, plumbing, managing tenants’ complaints, etc.). But, we come to the point where we think it is very hard to manage all the stuff ourselves especially when tenants keep complaining to us (sometimes even in the middle of the night!). We have been thinking to use property management services. Do you guys know any companies in the Bay Area that manage room by room rental? Did anyone have the same/similar experience managing this kind of rental properties? Would love to hear what you guys are thinking.

Thanks! Much appreciated.
