SFH Property Management
Hi Everyone,
I have been a property manager for large buildings (100+ units) for the past 7 years and I am a licensed real estate agent. I recently quit my property management job, and I am realizing there is a huge need for property managers of single family homes and small multifamily units. I am doing research now so that I can start my own property management company tailored to the needs of private investors instead of large corporations.
To all the investors out there with rentals, what are your greatest property management needs? What tasks do you want a property manager to take off your plate to free up your time? How much are you willing to pay someone to manage your rentals for you?
just recently acquired my license and want to get into property management as well. any suggestions on getting started?

Would recommend you both read this report from the National Association of Residential Property Managers to learn how to set up a PMC for actual profitability:)

Hi @Will Tip, congrats on getting your license! I started out as a leasing agent working for a property management company and got to see the ins and outs of the business. I highly recommend you work for a property management company and get some hands on experience first. I had a great experience working for Greystar and McKinney Properties. You will learn so much within a year!
