FL: Can landlord send handyman w key

Hello, we need to schedule for a delayed inspection with the city inspector. However the tenant is unavailable to open. I know landlord can enter with 24 hour notice to open for inspection. However I am not able to personally go. Can I send our trusted handyman with a key to open, of course with 24 hr notice to the tenant?

Also is text message and email legally sufficient for this notice?
