Hello all-

So my tenant will not return emails, texts, or voicemails. I have no idea why. Rent is now past due one month.

Any ideas as what to do?
Thanks.

Darryl

    1. Don't wait until they are month behind before developing a plan.

    2. When they are late and cut off communication, eviction is the proper response.

Because you are in California, I recommend you look for an attorney that specializes in evictions and start the process immediately. Interview several and hire one that you are comfortable with and that can actually provide answers.
