1 Thermostat for 2 Units
Just purchased a duplex where the heat is controlled by 1 thermostat in the first floor unit. Does anyone have experience with this? What are some possible options? Seems like the best but most expensive option would be getting another unit placed in the basement that feeds to the second floor. I've heard the gas company has a 4-6 week wait to do their part and this would be $$$$
Thinking of having a smart control (nest?) that I set, and the temps will be outlined in the contract..
Any other cost effective ideas?
