Cracks in house and patio

Good afternoon! 

I have a question about the cracks. We have a rental house built in 2011. The tenant recently found there is a long crack in the kitchen extends to outside in the patio. Please see the attached pictures. Is it a big issue related to the foundation? What should we do about it?
