Realtor commission for rentals- Texas

Hi,

What is the general rule for commissions on a rental for realtor? I am understanding that the brokerage gets 100% of first months rent. . Apparently 50% is for my broker and the other 50% is for agent whom found the tenant.

Please any insight is appreciated.
