Tacoma Lease Renewal

Adam Lensegrav
Posted

I have a tenant with a lease that expires October 1.  They have not let me know if they're going to renew or not, but I've received a call from a landlording service asking about their rental history, so it's very likely they're looking for somewhere else to live.

Do I need to let them know I won't be renewing?  Since the lease expires Oct 1, can I just assume that they'll be out on that date without a renewal?

Thanks!

@Adam Lensegrav, do you use the RHAWA lease forms, or something else?

Most least forms have a language or a clause about the renewal.
