Property Management - After all costs

Hello,

I'm thinking of moving to property management in the western suburbs of Chicago. What is the average you are paying a property management in terms of revenue with factoring all their different pay structures? Any recommendations in the western suburbs of Chicago?

Thank you!

Danny O

@Danny Ondik you should connect with @Mark Ainley about property management. His company is great, and if they don't manage in your areas he will know someone who does.

For 1-4 units, I see 7-10% being the norm depending on the quality of the area. You also will want to underwrite for leasing as any good PM will charge extra for that. There also may be a few additional fees depending on what you need done.
