Can you file insurance claim for burst pipes months ago?

One of the property has a burst pipe in Jan, at the time the PM fixed the issue ASAP, but I didn't know I could file homeowner insurance claims for burst pipe at the time. Now is March, can I file claims for incidents that happened months earlier? Thanks for any thoughts/ideas.
