Property Management and ESA Issue
Hello BP community,
I'm working with a new property manager who refuses to share with me Emotional Support Animal Letter from recently approved and moved in tenant. Their argument is based on the fact that it is a "medical document". From what I have researched so far, landlords have every right to see this document, which includes medical diagnosis and reason for use of ESA. Has any of you dealt with this type of situation? Any good information sources out there I can share with PM?
Thanks!

Your PM is your agent. I don't mean real estate agent, they may be that too, but they are your agent and acting on your behalf. As such, the PM has it 100% wrong. Anything they have the right to see, you do as well. Anything the collect on your behalf in their role as your PM belongs to you.
PM is in the wrong here and they should share the document.
