Advertising a Rental Prior to Closing

Johnathan See
Posted

I'm under contract on my first property - a duplex that I'll be house hacking out of. What I'm curious about is when/how to start advertising the rental given that I haven't closed on the property yet. What is your advice on/how do you go about advertising a rental that you've just bought? Do you wait until closing to make sure things go through, or are there steps you can take prior that might help reduce time the unit sits vacant once you take ownership?
