Finding Absentee owners
I recently found two off market, fixer upper properties that I believe would be great for the BRRRR strategy. However, the only phone numbers I could find were disconnected. I thought about handwriting a letter and taping it to the front door explaining that I'm a real estate investor and I'm interested in purchasing their property, I'm just not sure if that's completely legal. One of the properties has the yard maintained for the most part (but not the house) and the other I believe was a rental that has been vacant for a while so I do think they would see the letter eventually. Any advice on the legality of that strategy or other ideas would be greatly appreciated. (Located in Kansas)
