What to track in each market

good afternoon BP Fam! Had a rookie question for you guys to help me and others with. In readying David Greene’s book “Long-Distance Real Estate Investing”, he spoke about what he tracks in different markets he’s in.

What are some things experienced of newer investors use that help you track markets you are in or interested in? What are some of the most important things you are watching and staying up to date with? (Ex: big companies leaving that area, a new development being built) Also, any other things you believe is also important.

Looking forward to hearing what you guys think.
