Finding private lenders through direct mail
We just started getting hits on our direct mail campaign (made an offer today after meeting a lady) and was curious about using direct mail for private lending.
I know most folks say to network to find your private lenders...but with a marketing business already, wife and three kids under 4, it's hard to get out a bunch to evening networking events.
Have you had success sending mailers to other investors (found through propstream/public records) to drum up interest in private money?
As in marketing, it's much easier to sell something to someone who's bought before...i.e. easier to find funding from other investors than say try and convince family/friends who don't understand the business.
