Are the Mobile Home Park courses and Boot camps a VALUE??

I've recently completed both podcast series by The Mobile Home Park Academy and Mobile Home Park Mastery and found them both extremely informative. Both podcasts have tons of great content and I'm convinced that the mobile home park space is right for me. I'm considering the home study courses and or boot camps offered by both The Mobile Home Park Mastery team with Frank Rolfe and the similar courses offered by The Mobile Home Park Academy with Kevin Bupp and Charles Dehart. Both are appealing to me, however, these both come with a decent investment cost. I have no problem investing in my education and I would love to hear any personal opinions about which way to go. If anyone has taken these courses and found them valuable, please let me know. I want to get started buying a park.

I actually punch people (in a nice way) when I go to free seminars where workshops and courses are sold by snake oil salesmen. The biggest problems I see are; 1) the sales pitch is always one-sided where you are always told how simple it is to get rich if only you follow their advice, 2) you are never told about how much money you need nor are you told about the downside and risk factors and

3) you are never qualified (a verb) to see if you have what it takes. The gurus are always more than anxious to take your money and get you started within minutes after their 45-minute glory and sob stories, but they never qualify their students. They dishonestly take money from the very young people who don't have the money to do the type investing they are selling and they take money from elderly people who hardly have enough many to pay for their courses and have no more money to invest. The problem I see and the reason I punch people is because the gurus are selling these courses to people who are not qualified.  Most people who buy these courses don't have the time, don't have the money and don't have the business savvy. But, these gurus will gladly take their money, anyway.

My answer is, NO!!! I never pay for courses. I finally got sick and tired of paying $500 to go to a workshop to hear the exact same story that was told for free. Then, during the $500 workshop the guru spends 10% of the time teasing you with tiny bits of information and 90% of the time trying to sell you on an advanced course for $10,000 to $20,000.

You can find too much information on the internet, FOR FREE, and you can get really serious and honest advice at real estate clubs where nobody will ask you to pay money for their help.

Don't try to force yourself into a business or market niche. Sure! It is great to get advice from someone who has experience, but you need to consider the person's agenda when you are being 'sold' on paying for that advice. Listening to someone's experience is nowhere as valuable as getting years of actual experience so you build experience, wisdom and business savvy.

I've been a contractor for more than 50 years with licenses for 8 specialty trades. I can tell you stories about how I made as much as $100,000 per day on many jobs and I could even put a price-tag on my experiences and try to sell you a course, but I would not do that to you because I did not make that kind of money without, first, working in the business for 30 years, knocking my head on brick walls for 30 years, almost going crazy, filing bankruptcy and I had to have a million dollars in the bank to make my payroll, purchase tractors and do several million dollars in work without my company getting paid for 6 months.I am an honest guru. I would help you to learn my business, for free and I would not take money from people who are not qualified.

How can you trust someone who tells you at a free seminar, or whatever you call it, that they are going to teach you their secrets for $XXX.00 and they don't tell you that you are going to need to purchase advanced courses that cost thousands of dollars to succeed.

Thank you very much for your input. I will continue to digest all of the information I am bringing in. Very kind of you to weigh in and I appreciated the time, effort and thoughts. I don't want to re-invent the wheel and I believe much can be gained from other's experience.
