Does Instagram/Facebook Ads work?

I am thinking about blowing up my FB and IG page to lead people to my website. Is anyone using these marketing methods right now? Any advise on what kind of content I should be posting to have people engaged? Thank you!

 I am currently expanding my SEO efforts into FB and IG. Everyone (seriously EVERY DANG INVESTOR) does the same thing

Stupid dumb FB posts that says "hey you need to sell your house? No repairs no closing costs" seriously forget this. NO ONE CARES!!!!!!!!

I have started a very new  of course in house developed strategy that will change EVERYTHING!. I can not yet mention much (at least not in public) but when I have actual numbers graphs and concrete proof that it works, I will open my big mouth about it... but being really savvy on everything marketing I can tell you right now, this will be a game changer!

But yes as Braden said... none of it works or matters if you do not have a credible website. You can drive all the traffic to your site you want, if you are not credible (i.e. an UhhhMAYzinggg website), forget it. You will spend all that effort and money for not!
