Sourcing a List of Landlords

Hey BP!

So I'm wondering how you guys would go about sourcing a list of landlords. I'm sure list brokers sell it, but I'm curious about curating the list myself. What immediately comes to mind is absentee owners but something tells me there's a better way to locate landlords than that using public data.

I'm interested in seeing what you guys are doing to build these lists, and if for some reason you can't get this data publicly, do you have a preference for one list broker over the other?

Thanks guys!
