Is $5000 enough to start investing? What should I do?

I am a new Real Estate Agent in Raleigh/ Cary NC. My background: beauty industry, marketing, management and for the last 2 years, construction. I am eager to learn everything I can about working with investors and for investors.   My ultimate goal is to create passive income. Can anyone relate with me? Any suggestions?

I would disagree about the comment that you cannot do much with $5k for passive income. You can invest in a note partial which could get you 10% returns per year, so the $5k would net $500 a year which is much better than sitting in a bank account. While $500 may not seem to be a lot, real estate is not a get rich quick scheme and the best way to gain wealth is to reinvest your earnings and over time it creates passive income and more cash flow.
