Hi All, I am an investor in Atlanta looking to invest in a duplex within the Fairfield neighborhood of Milwaukee WI 53209 and wanted to get thoughts on the neighborhood. Does anyone have some insight in this area? Based on some of my initial research it appears this neighborhood may be in the middle of a C maybe D neighborhood to the south and a B or C neighborhood to the north but wanted to run my thoughts by others more familiar with the area. Thanks for your help.

@Jonathan Ly your assessment is right. That particular neighborhood is a C or D, probably leaning closer to D. However, you don't have to go too far north or west for the neighborhoods to improve. I wouldn't recommend going directly south.

If you go just 2 - 3 miles east to I43 it turns into an entirely different market near Bayshore mall where you have Whitefish Bay and Fox Point which are some of the hottest and highest priced residential markets in Milwaukee county. This speaks to how much Milwaukee can change in just a few miles but more specifically it is really a block to block difference here. Hope this helps and if there are any other questions about neighborhoods happy to share all I can and a great community of local investors here to help as well.
