Bandit sign competition

Hi, I read that placing bandit signs in heavy traffic intersections in every direction was the best thing to do. In the area I want to target, there are already bandit signs from other competitors. But it is not just one, it looks like two are competing with each other. If I place my signs next to theirs, I think it would be a waste of time and look like a cluttered mess. But I do want to place my signs somewhere. What is the best thing I can do in this saturated area so that I can get business? Thanks
