Are Motivated Seller Lists Worth It?

I've been investing for a few years now and have managed to get up to about 85 doors (72 MF units). I've done so through a mixture of MLS and referrals from various sources. I'm ready to kick it up and would like to start doing 5-10 deals per month consisting of both SF and MF units. To get to that volume I need to build a lead generation system (deal funnel) and I'm wondering if buying a motivated seller list was worth the money? If so, what are some good reliable and cost effective sources for this info? Thanks in advance for the help!

I run online campaigns to capture motivated sellers for clients. I can't compare our leads to a bought list, but I can only assume the list you bought has been purchased many times, so the seller is going to sell the home to the investor willing to make the least from the deal among dozens (hundreds?) of investors. Hire an online advertising agency, and pay for the fresh leads.
