I Wish All Homeowners Let Me Down This Easy
I got this handwritten card from a homeowner who received my direct mail post card. They were so nice in telling me their home was not for sale, lol. I am use to people barking at me. This made me :)

@Jay Hinrichs I definitely agree with that. I got the card yesterday. Today I got a check in the mail for $1600 from an out of state seller that I bought a house from previously via subject to. Long story short, I refinanced and retired his loan. He ended up getting the insurance policy refund and escrow overage checks issued to him (per our agreement all refunds, overages funds go to me). He deposited and sent me a check. The $1600 is not the point. I did exactly what I told him I would do every step of the way and in the time frame I said I would do it. In return he honored that. He could have deposited that money and kept it, end of story. I was not going to fight over it. I think treating people right is the first step in getting treated right.
