Has anyone done the research to compare online direct mail marketing services such as Yellowletters.com vs. having letters printed locally through a printing/mailing service? Investors in our area are using different strategies/services.

Are you asking about the difference of service, price or quality?

There are a number of other real estate specific direct mail companies out there other than YLs.  I think you might be able to find local printers that can do simple mailers/postcards, however, if you're really looking to get creative with your mailers so you stand out, I can almost guarantee there are only a number of print shops that can do this due to the additional cost of the mailers.

Also, if you use a direct mail company where the owner is an investor as well, you will likely get much more value due to their insights and expertise.
