Doubt on Website Marketing

Hello BP, recently i decided i should create a website for my marketing purpose that would draw leads in my market. And most of the points i been study here in BP is from Antonio Coleman's articles. Now most of the points seem to work but i had my doubts when i done the "keywords" search. You can easily guess that in the 1st page there going to be the at least 3 of the top 5 realtor companies somewhere. And there are. For his point on "within 6 months to 1 year" to dominate the local market, i had my doubts. Does he mean like being rank 6-10? And does anyone here who did apply his strategies make it after 6 months in the front page? The strategies sound good but...i'm not sure in the same time.
