Website Advice 1800 number or local number

I am launching an i buy house website this month, with the add-on value that we can also list the home for the seller if we can't buy it.  Was wondering if any of you have tips I may not have heard on a podcast.  I am kind of pondering whether to do VM or direct to cell phone via Google Voice (I'll take suggestions on another service like Cricket) and also whether to have a 1800 number or local number.  I am actually targeting the majority of the state as I am familiar with investing in the three major markets so that is part of my consideration for having a 1800 number.

@Charles Kao

I chose an 800 number since my market is national. Is your local area code one that would be well known for your whole state or at least the markets you are targeting?  I imagine there would be some value in people recognizing the area code. I don't think 800 numbers are the draw they used to be since it is less common for people to pay long distance charges nowadays. Just my thoughts.
