Yellow letters
I am in need of peoples opinion on yellow letters. I have heard of some people putting a picture of them selfs in with the letter they are sending, I am thinking of making business cards with a picture of myself and sending it with the yellow letter. Also I need some opinions on the return address on the envelope, I have been using my personal address but had thought of renting a mail box. What is the pros and cons of these ideas or is there better ways to send yellow letters. Thanks in advance.

Hello @Lawrence Lloyd paclob! Maybe I can help with some of your questions.
For your yellow letters I would say that your second idea of stuffing a business card in with your letter would be a better choice than putting a picture on the letter. Since the yellow letter method is designed to look like a handwritten, personal letter, a picture printed on there looks a little out of place and takes away from the feel of the letter. A business card stuffed with the letter would keep with the casual, one-on-one feel of the message and also give the recipient another medium to hold on to or even pass on to another potential seller.
As for the return address for the envelope, I lean more towards a PO Box or a business address rather than a personal address. Mainly because it is not unheard of for a potential seller to show up at the address listed in hopes of talking to you face-to-face. While there is debate whether or not the response rate truly differs between a personal address vs a PO Box, I still prefer to go the safe route with a PO Box. However, if you go the PO Box route, there is a good chance that the post office will allow you to use the physical address as the return address. This will make it appear to the recipient to be a personal address, but it protects you from unannounced visitors at your door. Kind of a win-win.
I hope this helps! Good luck!
