Fair use quote?

Is it considered fair use to quote a public figure's public statement?

Say, something that Warren Buffet or (in a Canadian context) Kevin O'Leary stated in a news interview?

A trusted name with a quotable phrase would add credibility to an unusual (around here) strategy that I'm looking at. I'd like to put the quote and attribution in a space on a postcard mailer.

Thanks!
