As sad as it is to say, I have had zero luck with probate. The list costs about $1.50 for the whole month of the county in which I reside.

I have mailed to everyone for quite some time and I do not have luck with it. I wish I did, yet I do not.

I have found better results with tracking and targeting residents that have an Affadavit of Heirship on the deed record. This is required when the decedent has family and the state/county/title office needs to know who owns the property or who has ties to it. You will find the owner and usually a motivated seller within these records.
Good Luck

Our local tax appraisal office provides these records upon request.

Charles, the tax office will supply you with a list or just the access to the computer to run your own searches? Do you know how to use the tax office property database to run your own querys for this?
