DIRECT MAIL MARKETING STRATEGIES
Experienced Marketers,
Is it better to market to a list of 1000 people monthly or 250 people weekly?
-OR-
Buy 1000 people list, split into 4 and hit 250 people per week. This will ensure i each 250 is hit once per month. (If so, how is this different than just 1000 sent once per month????)
I am on a $500/ mo. budget, I looking to take action on a new strategy that will be most effective.
Please share your experiences.

Here's a link to a podcast from a wholesaler out of AZ named Sean Terry who does a ton of business. I listened to this podcast, and if you pay attention to the criteria and the process that the guy Joe McCall uses to form his list it is great information. I have incorporated it into my business and it has really increased not only my lead generation "quantity", but also the "quality" of the leads coming in, and in the end thats really what it boils down to, "quality" over "quantity". Check it out while you're riding in your car, then listen again when you can take notes, then listen again. I took a similar to what you mentioned because our budget is similar in my most recent marketing campaign, but I did a bi-weekly schedule; yellow letter, 2 weeks later postcard, 2 weeks later yellow letter, post card 2 weeks later, and I did this over the course of 2mos; spent about $2,700 total for the list and mail outs. Out of that campaign I'm closing a deal in about a week for $6,500, and I have 2 other properties under contract heading towards closing soon, so I more than made my money back plus some to add to my marketing budget. Marketing is about trying different strategies, tracking the results, and using what brings in the best results for you. Hope this can help you. If you do try it out, give us an update on how things turn out. I can honestly say it was very beneficial to me. Good luck. Heres the link to the podcast:
