Bandit Sign Marketing Campaign Strategies?

I am starting my first bandit sign marketing campaign in Houston, TX and was wondering if anybody could give any insight on how to go about generating the most leads. Are there any strategies for placing the signs that are most effective? Are there particular areas that are more responsive or tend to have better deals? Is it better to focus on one specific area or spread my signs as far and wide across different neighborhoods as possible?
