Contents of Direct Mail Campaigns
Hey BP!
In my next campaign, I'm considering including a handwritten post-it note with my phone number. I (don't) fully expect each seller on my list to firmly affix that thing to their fridge and call me when they decide to sell their house.
Does anyone else have interesting things they include in their direct mail pieces?

I am reminded of a story a client of mine told about sending his own version of "lumpy mail" He was mailing to Absentees, trying to find frustrated or burnt out land lords.
His idea was to put two tylenol tablets in each letter to go for that "there's something in here" curiosity killed the cat lumpy effect. The message being something like "Tenants giving you a headache?"
Unfortunately, as the letters were machine processed at the USPS, the sorters managed to break up the the tylenol tablets......so the letter recipients were opening their mail to find this suspicious white powder.
Mr. Investor ended up at the police station explaining himself. In this day and age it's a wonder he didn't end up at Guantanamo Bay I guess.....:-)
In my opinion, a business card would be a likely choice. Much easier to hang onto than a post it note.
