Marketing- bandit signs

good afternoon! I am studying the marketing aspect of real estate focusing on wholesaling/rehabbing and have a few questions in regards to bandit signs. I understand that there may be laws/code enforcement in regards to advertising/bandit signs. I live in syracuse NY and was wondering I research the possible laws that may be in my area? Any thing will help!
