Lack of Ads

I have a problem that is not insurmountable but thought I would ask for your advice. I live in the Twin Cities area. The largest newspaper here, the Star Tribune, does not have many, if any, ads for SFH for sale. It's the weirdest thing. On a given Sunday, there will maybe be one or two ads from FSBO's, if I am lucky! Usually not even that, just rental ads. There are several homes advbertised by Realtors, but none by FSBO's. I have never seen anything like it. It's as if the area is locked up by Realtors, or that everyone is too cheap to advertise themselves.

I have other marketing going, so I'm not letting this newspaper ad thing stop me, but I just wondered if anyone else has had this problem? Thanks, Mike
