In your mailers, do you identify your self as a person, a company or both??

I'm having similar response rates with my mailers that say 'Hi I'm Zaid Rabadi...etc' Versus 'We're XYZ Inc, we buy houses please call...etc'.

I'm curious to see what your experiences/thoughts are about this

We are a brand, so presenting the brand is very important to us, but we also include the PHOTO, name and local number for our investors - much like what real estate agents do with their branding.  What we've found is the company stuff makes you seem legit, and the personal stuff makes your seem familiar and approachable.
