Greetings!

A friend of mine has a connection with a probate attorney. How can I approach him? What should I say to have him passing deals on to me?

Regards,

Mimmo

Welcome to BP. Plenty to learn and lots to share here.

I'm not in favor of your plan. If I was the friend, I'd be wondering why my buddy is trying to take advantage of our friendship. If I was the attorney, I'd tell my secretary to not take your calls! I mean, why should they send you deals?

Now if you turn thus around and stop the "me, me, get" stuff and consider how you can be useful and helpful, using your skills, experience and knowledge, you might have a better chance, someday, of being in the right place to contribute rather take. That is when you'll be ready for your friend to make the introduction.

In the meantime, have fun here and don't be discouraged when you hear the advice that you're not looking for. That's part of free, open, online discussion forums.
