Are You Using G+ For Social Networking?
I was curious how real estate folks were using G+ . . .
Do you use it for your business? Are you connecting with your closest friends? Or are you just following folks of interest?
I'd love to hear your G+ strategies. And while we're talking about it, do make sure to follow BiggerPockets on G+.

I started using G+ pretty regularly in 2013 and to my surprise, it's been a profoundly useful social networking platform - more than any other I've used to date (which is hard to believe, I know).
I don't think G+ has really caught on in the mainstream yet, but it seems like the people who do use it on a regular basis tend to be die hard fans.
I started posting relevant content in several real estate communities (some of which have well over 6,000 members) and it was the first noticeable "flood of traffic" that I managed to funnel into my various websites. I'd say it's definitely important to pay attention to each community's posting rules - some of them love new content, some of them hate it... so don't go in there with guns blazing until you've gotten to know that community's "posting culture" and what people do/don't want to hear about.
All in all, I'd say G+ has been highly instrumental in allowing me a lot of valuable new connections with people. I've even noticed that some Google searches will refer users directly to the historical posts I've made on G+ - so it seems to be making an SEO impact as well.
