becoming a landord in fort worth tx

getting ready to move out of my home and going to rent out my property when would be the right time to post the property fort rent when its already all empty and ready to go or could i post it in the process of getting all ready? 

right now im moving everything out of the house and fixing some little fixtures that need to be fixed before rental could i start posting it as of now and start screening possible tenants?
