Any Luck with Bankruptcy Lista?

I am planning my new marketing campaign, and I am researching the different options for acquiring a mailing list. I realize that Absentee Owners are saturated with inquiries on their property. I was looking at maybe using a bankruptcy list. Has any put a marketing campaign around a bankruptcy list. What were your result? ROI? Any troubles with closing on a bankruptcy? I would especially love to hear from someone in the Texas market.
