Need Advice from Real Estate Investor for hard money

Hello, 

I am looking for assistance from a real estate investor who uses a hard money lender lot for his or her deals.  I have never really used a hard money lender before so I need an opinion from a expert on how to best use them for real estate deals.  any piece of advice would be good.  I would love to speak on a call for 5 min to understand better.
