Not as well known Real Estate Careers

Hello,

I am returning to the work force after 8 years of not living in the US. I have two, not yet school aged children so I am looking for flexible and part time options. During my 8 years of not working in an office I have found real estate. My husband and I have purchased 2 investments. I am familiar with the standard real estate careers real estate agents, mortgage brokers and property managers. 

What options should I research that aren't as well known. With my gift of time I have realized I want a job in an industry that will prompt my growth and give me the opportunity to continue my education that would lead to financial freedom for my family.
