How to find a tenant for my first investment property

Hello all,

I am in the process of finding my first investment property and I’m trying to be proactive and figure out how I will find a tenant to rent to. I am deciding between finding someone myself or using a property management company to do this for me. I’d love to hear any advice you guys have as well as what the costs of each would be.

You can use a few options. Facebook marketplace, Craigslist, yard sign, Zillow and more. Brandon turner made a post about it recently on his Instagram if you are able to check that out. He also has a great book called the book on managing rental properties which is very helpful starting out.
