Is it safe to rent to a truck driver?

Hello,

A truck driver expressed interest in my apartment @2400 per month,he mentioned salary around 6k per month and one of their family members earn an additional 2k.Any inputs on if it’s safe to rent if they also have a decent credit score.

 What is your concern with truck drivers? 

Truck drivers are well paid and there is a massive shortage of truck drivers currently, so there is good job security. It is a tough profession because you spend time on the road away from family. I respect anyone who takes on a hard job to pay the bills and feed their family. You should too.
