Potential tenant with rabbit

Hi all,

We have just posted our first rental property for rent and a potential tenant asked if we would allow her pet rabbit she claims is always caged. We originally posted with “no pets”.

With the pandemic and rents down already our concern is if we pass and don’t get another tenant quickly we will be stuck carrying the mortgage for an extended period.

Does anyone have experience with tenants with rabbits? She is otherwise an ideal tenant.

Thanks!
