Zillow Rental Manager Background Screening Results

The result for a background check using Zillow Rental Property Manager's site came back with a result of "N/A". Does that mean the applicant had a clean criminal record or that the 3rd party wasn't able to screen the applicant?

The 3rd party wasn't able to screen the applicant. Not sure what 3rd party they use, I typically use transunion smartmove. 

Take a look at the overall picture, i.e. credit score, debts etc.. to make a decision. Don't base it on one data point that is not available :) good luck

Don't trust any Zillow application.  I second Transunion as a decent screening tool.

Not sure why that happen, however the best way to screen a potential tenant is to see how they have performed in the past. 
I suggest using a service like Mayistay. It's difficult to see how a tenant will be after screened and signing a lease. However, a lot of concerns can be mitigated with looking at their past rental behavior in a lot of different settings. Let us know how it goes.
