screening tenants in lower income area
So I am trying to rent out a house in a lower income/lower quality neighborhood. I’d give it a C. It is to my understanding we will need to be a little more lenient on our tenant standards due to the area. But should a background check and credit check still be a minimum standard in an area like this? Any insight on renting to C-, C, and C+ neighborhoods would be great. Thank you!
