In what they call a pilot program, it looks like Fannie Mae and the FHFA are quietly going through with plans to sell nearly 500 homes they own in Los Angeles and the Inland Empire to yet undisclosed institutional investors for yet undisclosed terms. The California Association of Realtors, less than impressed with the secrecy, filed a Freedom of Information Act request for the details as described here.
